Cosy Lounge & Period Features
Caroline Cottage is a cosy but well appointed two bedroom holiday cottage situated in the peaceful country village of Romaldkirk in Teesdale (near Barnard Castle). Standing next to the stunning Saxon church of ‘St Romald’, the cottage overlooks the picturesque village green complete with stocks and water pump.
The cottage features gas central heating as well as a real log burning stove. The living room is a peaceful place to be and a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing or activities. There is a window seat from which you can admire the tranquil village green. There is a television with various FreeView channels and a DVD player.
The dining room features a stove set in to the original fireplace. The dining table seats six adults and there is a selection of board games available. Various books are provided on local history plus a selection of walking and cycling maps.
The kitchen is fully fitted and includes a fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, electric cooker, kettle, microwave, toaster, iron and ironing board. From the ground floor there is a short flight of stairs (featuring original stone wall) leading to the first floor, providing access to the two bedrooms and bathroom.
At the rear of the holiday cottage there is a back yard with a seating area and secure bike storage.
